Wintech strange problem

I am trying to perform the recovery on a 5.1.9 EEPC Client and noticed to some reason when i select Authenticate from Database and select floppy drive by default it doesn’t show me the .sdb file present in the floppy.

then if i type *.* and then click open it shows up the file and authenticates from sdb file.

why does by default it doesn’t show the sdb file? is transfer database different then sdb file?

RE: Wintech strange problem

as far as i know they are the same database. i too have seen this on rare occasions i usually copy the file in the file manager from the floppy/flash drive to the RAM disk drive and get to it that way.
