I was surprised that on the evening, when I boot with BartPE and run Wintech, it shows me the date of tomorrow, even if the system time is the today's date...
Now the problem is that when I request the code of the day, it gives me the today's date, and Wintech ask me the tomorrow's date...
Does anybody know what happend ?
hmm, another question just raize:
we have build a one single bootable CD for all our technician guys world wild... It means that all have the same timezone.
Do you have any idea to get ride of that ? I mean to ensure that if I run wintech here and on the other side of the world, we all get the same date, thefore code of the day ?
yes but there is still a problem as the BartPE CD is set to GMT Casablanca, and my own machine's timezone here is GMT+1:: Wintech shows me the date 7/10/2010 and the date of my machine is still 6/10/2010.
Do you see what I mean ?
There is no internet access from the BartPE cd, therefore all the tech guys will have to get the Code from their own PC (GMT + or - X) not from the BartPE cd, which has a local specific timezone (GMT). So therefore the Code is based on the timezone of the technician PC. That's why the 2 dates will not match.
we will show a kind of popup asking the suer to set the timezone before we run wintech.
Thanks you for your help on that topic.
