I'm having a really big issue.. I have a lot of personal and professional information encrypted on my laptop. Window's system file got broken and I can't repair it. Is there a safe way to recover my data? I'm not interested on recovering windows per se, just my files. Which is the fastest way to do it? I read about a possibility using the encrypted disk as a slave in another PC and copying the files using Wintech cd, but I don't have that CD. how can I get the wintech program? the IT support of my company is not very willing to help..
FYI: My laptop has Windows XP, Endpoint 5.2.8, the disk is a SATA disk.
thanks in advance!!
Yes, I still get the endpoimt pass screen.. but after that, the best i could do was reaching win revovery console, which is useless cause i can't do anything at the prompt cause of the encription
Unfortuately, since this is a company owned machine, you're going to have to work with your own IT department to resolve it - data recovery is possible, but only if your company supports it.
It may not support by your it but maybe your it security team does..
check the correct it support team on this.
Escalate to higher level like IT manager, IT director, CTo or CEo if you need to get their attention.
