Unexpected reboots upon editing network files after encryption

Trying to isolate a recent issue where multiple machines after being encrypted are now rebooting immediately after trying to edit documents located on network shares. Doesn't seem like this should be related to MEE... The machine groups are configured to never encrypt removable drives and should not care about network drives. We are troubleshooting from multile directions but given the issue and it not being experienced on any other machine NOT encrypted... i thought I'd see is anyone else has experienced this or has some recommendations.
thanks in advance...

RE: Unexpected reboots upon editing network files after encryption

Followup to this... turns out an old version of the symantec anti-virus client was causing this issue after being encrypted. Fully un-installing SAV and re-installing latest SEP resolved.
