Unable to view properties of a device

I've got a laptop, which is fully encrypted and is visible from the Admin console but whenever i click to view the propeties i get 0xdb000013 File not Found. I can view the audit log so i know it must be the correct machine etc...

I've tried reinstalling the client files on the laptop, as i thought it may be related to upgrading them, but this hasnt made any difference.

Has anyone had this, or can anyone tell me wht is wrong?

RE: Unable to view properties of a device

did you recently update your admin system? I believe this is related to a bad version of sbfiledb.dll

Yes, recently moved from 5.1.7 client to 5.1.9? Is there a fix??

RE: Unable to view properties of a device

put the sbfiledb.dll back from your previous version at a guess, but really you should call support as I may be completely mistaken and there may be a better/more official resolution.

RE: Unable to view properties of a device

Hi, did you get anything back from McAfee support from this?

We have also just moved from 5.1.7 client to 5.1.9 and have found the same issues on some machines.

5.1.9 has been a bit of a nightmare for us it's also introduced a keyboard problem after the PBA logon. Very disappointed with the release.

5.2 was released a while ago - maybe that would be better for you?

Hi, do you know if 5.2 fixes any keyboard issues?

not that I can see in the release notes, but it might be worth an informal test.

RE: Unable to view properties of a device

Hi, We replaced the sbfiledb.dll with a previous one, and this resolved the issue.

We are still using 5.1.9, is 5.2 controlled via ePO or can it still be controlled as it has been?

RE: Unable to view properties of a device

the 5 series will >NEVER< be controlled through EPO. That will be the v6 product.
