Unable to Detect Local Drive

I have Installed EEPC 5.2.5 on Windows 7 (HP Elitebook 8440p). And after Sucessfull Installation i have Rebooted the System.

It was Showing only C Drive in EEPC Status, As the System Contains 2 Drives i.e C & D

I tried ReInstalling EEPC but still Unable to Detect D Drive.

Pls, help me in this.

Thanks in Advance.

Re: Unable to Detect Local Drive

It depends on disk encryption settings for your machine object. Did you check that using EEM?

What type of drive is disk D:? Can you get some information about it?

Re: Unable to Detect Local Drive

Hello Peter.

For your Kind Information D drive is Local Drive(HDD)

I have Checked Settings & that are Proper, As on all other Laptops i'm able to get all the Local Drives.

Re: Unable to Detect Local Drive

What kind of HDD? SATA connected?

What EEM reports on that machine object in "Encryption" section?

Re: Unable to Detect Local Drive

Hello Peter.

Re: Unable to Detect Local Drive

what does the client say? Is it throwing any error messages regarding your 2nd partition? As you say, if it's not reporting the partition to EEM, you won't be able to encrypt it. Usually this means it's NOT a real partition - it's some virtual or non-basic construct. EEPC only supports real MBR style partitions.

Re: Unable to Detect Local Drive

Hello Safe Boot.

It is not throwing any Error Message,It is a Real Partition.

Re: Unable to Detect Local Drive

Based on your screenshot, you don't have a 😧 drive, you had a 😧 partition, but only one drive. (The removable HD doesn't count)
