Start and Stop Endpoint Encryption server service from command line.

Is it possible to start and stop this service from a bat file using the command line utility? If not any other sneaky way i can make the service stop at 1am and start back up at 2?

Haven't tested it, but with other services you can use NET STOP and NET START or the SC.EXE tool (depending on your Operating System) to stop and start a service. Not sure it'd be any different with SB, but of course test.

If you create a windows scheduled task (to start at 01:00) and then have this in the batch file

net stop SafeBootClientManager
sleep 3600
net start SafeBootClientManager
