Skipping Disk 1 because it has no space for disk information

Jump to solution

I am using EEPC 5.2.12.  My install set was configured to not encrypt any drives and to FULLY encrypt removable devices.  When I install the installation set and reboot, the USB drive does not encrypt.  In the EE Client Status, it shows "Auto full encrypt of removable device E:", followed by "Skipping Disk 1 because it has no space for disk information".  The USB drive was formated before installing encryption.  Any ideas?  Thanks

Got it.  This isn't a 4gb stick, this is a 160 gb external hard drive.  How do I create a partition gap on a USB external hard drive?
