Safetech for EEPC 5.2.x

Jump to solution

I had a machine with SB4.2 client files.  I upgraded it to EEPC 5.2.4.  If I need to remove encryption, since the directory didn't change (c:\program files\safeboot) after the upgrade, do I use Safetech 4.2 or 5.2?

Thanks

You are suppose to run it from client directory. Wherever it exists.

If you have 5.x preboot screen, then use 5.x tools.

The reason I ask, is because after decryption, I'm suppose to remove the files by running sbsetup -uninstall from C:\program files\mcafee\endpoint encryption for pc.  That directory doesn't exist.  So I'm running that command from the C:\program files\safeboot directory?

Thanks
