Noticed after upgrading to v5.2.6 from 5.1, when trying to log in to the web helpdesk it stops the page and stops the service.
I have seen a very similar article posted on here that mentions to use Apache but is that the only option for this now after upgrading or is it still possible to use the web helpdesk as it was in v5.1 (without Apache)?
I had the same issue and when I logged a service request to McAfee I was advised to use the Apache...and it's working really fine so go ahead with the Apache
Hi again, I've managed to find the pdf but within that it mentions I need “McAfee Apache WebRecovery524.zip” file. Now either I am being stupid or blind but I can't seem to find this in the install or docs folder, could someone point me in the right direction for this please.
Thanks for your help.
as far as I know its not require now in 5.2.x as component are already there... you will only require pdf and the Apache installtion set.....
Disregard that zip comment. It is a bug in documentation. You will find appropriate folder after you install EEM Web Recovery Apache component.
