SafeBoot

issue:

safeboot pre-boot login screen burning into monitor. anyone have ideas about how to prevent this in the event no one is there to turn the monitor off?

Unfortunately, since the OS isn't loaded yet it'd be like the computer stalling on the POST screen. Nothing is active to put the monitor or machine to sleep. Just change the BIOS setting so the computers don't restart after a power outage if that's why they're turned on.
