I am using an FRP policy of "Allow encryption (with offsite)" and when I insert a USB drive to encrypt it I get the encrypt prompt which encrypts the drive using the container method when I click "Yes".
If I click "No" the drive is not encrypted. But then when I right-click on the drive and choose "McAfee File and Removable Media protection > Encrypt" it prompts for the key assigned on the machine and then performs a FILE level encryption instead of container encryption.
The container encryption is preferred but I cannot find any way to manually kick that off except by opening the FRP settings on the client and clicking "Initialize Media."
Does anyone know how to turn on container encryption from the "This PC" menu?
