Recovering data from an encypted but not-bootable disk
I have an encrypted SSD drive from a laptop that won't boot (I suspect I inadvertently overwrote the boot record). Using EaseUS, I can see an 'unformatted' area of the disk that looks like it has all the folders and files intact, but the filenames are gibberish.
I am assuming I need to involve our IT group in decrypting the drive or could I do it myself, If I have the relevant information/files from them ?
