Reboot after logging into pre-boot screen

I have an IBM ThinkPad X61 that has been encrypted.  After the user logs in to the pre-boot screen the notebook reboots.  Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance

turn off auto-restart after BSOD so you have a chance to see what the message is?

Re: Reboot after logging into pre-boot screen

Not sure how to do that, if the system doesn't ever log-in to windows.

Re: Reboot after logging into pre-boot screen

my mistake - I didnt notice "pre-boot".. 😞

what version/product are you using? If it's not the latest, that's the first thing to try.

Re: Reboot after logging into pre-boot screen

We're using version 5.2.3.

Just throwing this out there...

Have you tried logging in as a different user, or doing a machine recovery to see if the situation persists?  Worst case scenario, you can use the Wintech tools to recover the data from the drive, and then reimage the existing hard-drive or image a new one.
