Policies & Devices tabs in Encryption Manager is missing

Jump to solution

I installed McAfee Endpoint Encryption Manager version 5.2.4 on an Windows 2003 Server system .

The installation went well, the same goes for the creation of the database and the server.

I have started the administrative console, the problem is that I do not find 02 tabs "Policy" and "Machine", see image below

you need to install EEM >>AND<< a product, like EEPC or EEFF.

if indeed you only want to use EEFF, you need to install EEM, then EEFF.

I believe OP indicated that Machines tab is missing. Therefore I assumed he has missed EEPC installation.

Google Tradiction

Hello SafeBoot,

Thank you for this information,
From what I understood, I meeting starts to install EEMM then EEFF or/and EEPC.
1 - Are there other modules that EEFF and EEPC?
2 - Currently, I use the docs "McAfeeNetExam" and after the installation EEFF -> EEPC -> EEFF, following your recommendations, I can not find  "Content Encryption Policy Groups" see picture.

no, we are not offering any other modules at the moment.

I guess you might have missed a step? Did you try resetting your view layout?

The install instructions are included with the products you downloaded - it would be better to use them, but you simply have to install EEFF into the same directory that you installed EEM into, then update the file groups. Why not call your McAfee reseller and ask for help?

I just thought - did you try to create a group under the policy node?
