I have a user that changed their password on 9/1 and it showed successful in the audit log. Then on 9/2 it shows the password change was unsuccessful in the audit log. Skip ahead two months later and they are still using the password they changed it to on 9/1, it all the sudden reverts back to the password prior to 9/1. The audit log shows successful syncs everyday.
I'm not at work today... Veteren's Day ya know. But, I can get one tomorrow. Yeah, that is if it doesn't take an hour to logon as mwilke has been describing our problems.
And this happens all the time with users.... I read about 5 months ago about time issues, so i try to keep that in mind. Plus, this is one of my peers... an administrator.Message was edited by: Biddyman on 11/11/09 12:13 PM
Well, I had asked that, he actually had the failed logon attempt on the first computer and then tried the old and it worked with old password too. So, he tested on the second machine which is extra and shows good syncs for the last two months. Thats when he decided to change the password on the second machine.
Weird stuff like that always seems to popup.Message was edited by: Biddyman on 11/12/09 11:54 AM
I don't know if this is the problem or not, but I found that if the BIOS date is not set at 2009, the password reverts back to the default password.
