NHS Safeboot

Is it possible to create CDs from users' PCs, such that the main data files are zipped/encrypted, but ther are other files on the CD that are NOT encrypted? EG to allow auto-run of a script?

If so, how is it achieved?

Thanks,

William

Re: NHS Safeboot

I take it that's a 'NO', then?

Re: NHS Safeboot

Maybe what you want to achieve, does not relate to SafeBoot at all?

Re: NHS Safeboot

sure, use EEFF standard encryption, and add your CD burner application to the list of bypass apps, then the burner will write the encrypted data to the CD rather than the decrypted plain text.

remember, CD's are like tape - they are written by applications, not by a file system driver.
