I have a user who does not have access to the original machine that encrypted the disk, and the mcafee folder was deleted from this disk. Now when she inserts it, she is not prompted for a password to decrypt it. I'm hopeful the encrypted data still exists on the flash drive. How could I load the software necessary to enter the password to decrypt the device contents? Or are the encrypted contents in that mcafee folder as well?
Re: Mcafee folder deleted from EERM USB Flash Disk
Assuming the data is there, is there a way to load the program to decrypt it, or could you insert this in a machine with the EERM software installed, and it would recognize and attempt to decrypt it? What options are there to decrypt the data?
