We recently upgraded to the latestest and greatest version of EPO and EEPC. Is there a way to setup a local shared account like before? It seems like to add a user they must be a part of Active Directory the way we have it setup. I would like to use a non AD account if possible and be able to control it/recover etc with EPO.

yes, then they will be disabled in EEPC as well.
I don't think this is possible.
As far as i am aware they must be from AD.
Either that or you could add a group from AD that contains all the members of that dept etc that would use it.
No - EEPC6 only supports users present in Active Directory.
