Unfortunately User has deleted system files from the Laptop so I am getting the error as NTLDR missing after loggin into the EEPC.
I tried below steps to recover the data with Wintech CD but getting error
> While authenticating from SBFS i am getting error as ‘unable to find system boot disk’.
> While authenticating from *.SDB file i am getting error as‘Invalid Database Type’ error code: 0Xdb000007.
Please help me on this.
re-export your SDB file, but make sure you are using the correct object. Also make sure of the status of the object you are exporting - if its current status is "removed" or "disabled" (or blank) then it does not have a key and you won't be able to recover with it.
In that case go get it from a backup.
You can also check the boot partition is indeed marked as Active, and that you are using the latest version of SafeTech/WinTech for your version of EEPC.
Thanks for your Valuable reply.
I have attached problematic HDD to other Desktop machine and performed Wintech Data procedure steps and able recover the data successfully.
could you please explain me in short on my below mention confusions.
> Why system HDD was not detected in laptop before what could be the possible reason.
> As per your reply Object property was perfect still why we are not able to authenticate from DB
1. because something/one had tampered with the MBR and maked the disk as unbootabe
2. because you were using the wrong version of SafeTech for your SDB perhaps?
