Image backup of a Safebooted laptop

We are in the position where we may have to surrender a Safebooted (v5.2.10) encrypted laptop to a 3rd party agency

We would be allowed to take an image of the laptop before surrendering it but am not too sure what software to use to do this ?

Are there any recommended packages that we could use that would allow  me to restore the taken image to another laptop of the same spec such that the user can use it as if it were the original ?

Re: Image backup of a Safebooted laptop

You need a sector level backup of the drive - something like Ghost maybe.
