You are posting in Consumer and I believe that file belongs to an Enterprise application. Can you clarify please?
It is one of the inconvenients of McAfee EERM. Many security tools like USBfix deletes the ''exe'' files.
That is why McAfee should try to secure those files.
Firstly, no reputable security program deletes EXE's at random - That's just plain stupid.
Secondly - how can any software protect itself, if it's not running? The whole point of mfeeerm.exe is to give you access to encrypted data on any machine - with or without McAfee software running.
If you have an idea on how it could protect itself from deletion before it's even run, now that would be interesting to hear...
