I have deployed the EEPC 6.0 0n a test pc and able to see the drive is encrypted and all the features explained in the documests are working great, pre-boot authentication, etc.
How to check my pc disk is really encrypted ?
I am able to access all the files remotely and as a different user though RDP.
Since i am new to this product, missing something ?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Your disk shares will be seen in clear (not encrypted) through a network connections. That is normal for EEPC. If you need file and folder encryption, use EEFF product.
There is EE plugin agent on a client PC. You can use it to see local disk encryption status.
You can test if disk is really encrypted if you try to boot it up with Windows recovery CD (or any WinPE CD) and try to access hard disk file system.
If i attach this disk to another computer, the file system/ shares will be visible ?
Thanks for your prompt reply!!
