I'm in the process of implementing EEPC and need some help. In particular, is there a way to change or reset a user's 'encryption password'? I had changed the default password and one user that I'm using to test with is not able to login with that password. He has not yet logged in, so it's not that he changed his password. We're not using the self-reset option at this time and was wondering if a user DOES change their password how we'd be able to reset that password if they 'lose' it.
You don't say what version you are using, so I am going to gues EEPC7.
page 109 - reset token. That will set their password back to the default.
If you are thinking about how to do remote recovery, that's chapter 11.
Found an article that states I can't reset token for user because they've never logged in. Problem is that the user CAN'T login with the default password.
maybe you deployed that machine prior to changing the default password? In which case, use the previous default password, or delete the user and create them again?
