How to add EEPC user on client computer?

One of my client said that, their partner is using EEPC as well,

and they have a function that is:

when you install EEPC on a new computer,

the install screen will prompt you to enter what user you are, and in the next sync,

it will auto add this user to this computer file in the database

How do I make this work, or close to it?

Maybe I should add a file to the client file group...?

Thanks!!

Yes, You can also do the same with the help of SBADMCL tool comes with EEPC. But you have to make script for that.

Re: How to add EEPC user on client computer?

You mean, I have to deploy SBADMCL.exe and its dll(SbAdmCom.dll? SbAdmDll.dll?) to the client,

and make a script--maybe a xml file, which contains the script letting the user to key their names, is that correct?

I look up the scripting tool guide, but are still confused.

Can you show me some example?  Thanks a lot for your help!

Yes, I have done it  at one of the our client. they are still using that script to add user.

I made .bat script file to run command  (Createuser & Setuser) at client side

or else you can get idea from Simon's Autodomain script (http://sites.google.com/site/ctogonewild)

Re: How to add EEPC user on client computer?

exactly - simply write a script to capture the info, you could use the loginbox.hta from autodomain for example, and then use sbadmcl to create that user in EEM. It's pretty simple (as long as you know how to write scripts).

McAfee Prof Services could do it for you if you wanted a fast turn around.
