Or hook his machine up to a projector and give him his own room. It's not like he would drive anywhere with his computer if he is that blind.
Most of our encrypted machines are laptops, so it would prevent mobility to require them to take a large flat panel with them.
Let me know if you have any success with the custom screen fonts. It looks like they have a TTF converter. If that works, you may want to get "free" ones, to avoid usage legalities of converting the Microsoft ones.
Tell me the point size you need and I'll look into making it for you - note though "size of a fist" means nothing to me - it depends on how big your fist is, and how large your screen is. On my projector as a previous poster mentions, 8point is as big as my head (which is not tiny before you come back with any comedy!).
The "how do you.." font in the default theme is 18 point, the font on the token lists is 12 point, so use that as inspiration.
You can PM me with what you need, you might want to mock up a pre-boot screen the way you want to see it, from that I can probably customize a theme for you.
As I indicated, it's for legally blind user, who with no beter vision than 20/200.
Projector is not possible, due to small office desk. A laptop is required due to job responsibility.
Font size of 144 points on a 800x600 on a 19in LCD monitor, will be acceptable by my requestor. OR, size of 72 points on a 640x480 on a 19in LCD monitor. And I do know I can only fit 5 characters by 4 characters on a 800x600.
I created a screen with only word (or acronym) but no phrases to fit the limited display area, also with hug edit box for user ID (we do not concern the size of password text box).
Please, I am not joking or try to "come back with any comedy" of some sort. My only goal is to allow our employee with disability to do their job.
