FRP file and folder encryption - real world

I have a currently implementation of file encryption for files that are stored on a file share.

I am trying to determine if McAfee FRP will take over this functionality, but the documentation is just so slim.

I would like to ensure that every file being written to a certain folder (network) is encrypted with a specific key or set of keys - and that the keys are limited to a certain group of users (ideally LDAP synched). I would need the files to remain encrypted when being copied out unless specifically decrypted. I would also need to be sure that I have a good backup administrator decryption key.

Has anyone implemented something like this that can share any insight?
