Error connection to database : Authentication signature is not valid.
Hello I'm getting Error connection to database [5c020004]: Authentication signature is not valid. On a client computer. Client obvously can't connect to the database. C: drive fully encrypted, no boot protection has been installed.
What can i do to remedy this?
I've tried to remove the installation from the Management console, but that's not working. (figured as much).
The manual tells me that error code 5c020004 is Authentication signature is not valid. And that has helped a lot (ironic...).
Using version 5.1.4
We're currently in upgrade process to 5.1.7 (Build 5502). But due to bugs in the languages/keyboard layout/locale parts we have stopped. Issue is escalated to McAfee Tier III and R&D.
RE: Error connection to database : Authentication signature is not valid.
I use the same installation set as every other computer and they all work fine. We get this error from time to time, not very often though.
We have upgraded the server side to 5.1.7 but apart from that there's nothing else changed. We have a lot of computers that are still getting the old installation set and works ok, even after the upgrade.
We have two server entries that points to the same server at the moment. (the server was planned to be replicated and used as backup but that never happended.) I have not deleted or recreated any server entries at all.
From what I can see in the sdmcfg.ini file it looks ok.
