Not sure if you consider this as new question then lets open new question for SBR/MBR so we can clearly understand on how to do best and suitable recovery option.
Can you technically explain on "Restore EEPC MBR"
which condition that we can use and which is not? or is there step that we may miss
The issue i seeing is we having error=e002000a issue
and hoping that "Restore EEPC MBR" will help us
in one condition ""Restore EEPC MBR" causing 92H error and we fixed this with emergency boot glad it work
the onther condition "Restore EEPC MBR" giving error - unable to find the system boot disk although same e002000a
our EEPC Version 5.2.4
I'm not sure what your question is - Restore EEPC MBR will always restore it from the SDB if it was captured, but whether it will fix any particular problem is another issue entirely. You use it to resolve a 92H, though it should solve the root kit issue as long as the virus has not done any other disk related damage.
i'm not sure if this related but is there mbr/sbr tools that analyze disk header condition and sugest option on recovery?
perhaps feature in wintech that analyze sbr location and fix the disk header if there an sisieu with sbr/mbr
i seen that error=e002000a could be caused by many issue not mbr/sbr issue entirely..
mirrorless, which 5.x are you using? I think the "Restore EEPC MBR" option was added to the BartPE WinTech utility in 5.1.8 or 5.1.9.
Yeap i can see that but it's doesn't work in my case not sure in what condition restoring eepc mbr is not working..
our disk is is having error=e002000a issue
so we try to used "Restore EEPC MBR" but it's doesn't seem to be working well
So i'm not sure in what condition "Restore EEPC MBR" can save us?
or is it feature from 4.X which is not available in new 5.X?
can t, recover data ,partions not apering and the above error massage coming again and again
