Since a few time we encountered issues with some safeboot user accounts, they have the following error on web recovery
webRecovery Server Error
Title Web Server
Description Token not configured for SafeBoot
Right clik on user token : Create/reset token does not solve the issue
Create token : no error message
Reset token : Error 0x5b090006 Token not configured for SafeBoot
If we delete and recreate user token, problem is solved for a few time before coming back.
Here a few informations
Windows server 2003 standard Edition SP2
Safeboot Administrator v4,2,12,0 (safeboot modules informations are in attachment)

I'm sorry but I don't understand what you mean by "user is not using the password token", because our user safeboot accounts are synchronized from Active Directory with Safeboot Connector Manager and I don't understand why some accounts return suddenly this error...
One of my users was abble to use safeboot until today and now he has this error... could it be a setting or a bug in the Safeboot connector?
Could help me to fix this problem and prevent it
its a 5 year old version of the product I'm afraid.. not much info on it left now.
is this during self-recovery? Maybe the user has locked themselves out completely after too many incorrect attempts? That will wipe the token data for sure.
I was aware that we were using a old version... but not so old.
Error occurs on heldesk member safeboot account : they want to make a password reset for end users using web recovery, while trying to connect they have this error message.
The error has already occcured on my own account.
If token data is wiped, is there a way to reenable the token?
You will find in attachment the screenshot of the error message displayed on the Safeboot Manager console and the screenshots of the properties of a safeboot account with the error.
Right click on user token : Create token, command is executed without problem but error still present on web recovery with user token
Right click on user token : Reset token, we have the error message that Token is not configured for safeboot (see attached picture)
Right click on user token : Delete and create new user fixes the problem... until it appears one more time, is there a way to prevent this error?

V4 went end-of-sale back in October unfortunately. It goes end-of-life October this year.
