Also, there is no option for USB legacy in the BIOS. The keyboard does not work at pre boot authentication. Caps lock is also stuck at PBA (not sure if that means anything).
Are you observing this issue with only one laptop or a bunch of them? When you install the same install set to other models/laptops, do you see the same issue or not?
Try disabling the option "Always enable pre-boot USB support" in the general settings of the machine in the End Point Encryption management centre together with the USB legacy settings in the Bios.
Try booting from a dos-floppy and check if the keyboard works in that environment
Also try the option "EEPC51 OPTION: Update number of sides reported in the OS boot sector"
I heard the "Update number of sides reported in the OS boot sector" only applies to the HP Compaq DC7100 models.
Does anyone know the official list of models that this option corrects? Is there a McAfee KB?
