I have a laptop that a customer gave me with only some of the endpoint files in the mcafee/endpoint encryption for pc directory. There's no PBA. There's no status. I tried running the SBSETUP -UNINSTALL command to get rid of the files, with no luck. I tried removing the files using Safetech, but can't authenticate and get an error e0020007. Can I just delete the McAfee/Endpoint Encryption for PC directory and reinstall the EEPC installation set, to encrypt the laptop?

Ok, I installed the install set over the top. The laptop encrypted with no errors and I'm able to reboot to PBA and log on. Now, when I try to decrypt, I receive that same error when I try to authenticate (e0020007). Authenticate from SBFS and from database give me the same error. Is there another way to remove EE or fix that error?
