yes, you auth from the SDB itself - whether you included the users or not does not matter, SafeTech/WinTech never ever use them.
The test is not to remove some users from the machine user list, it's to login with a level 32 user in EMM and try to export it. There may be more level 31 or 32 users included that you don't recognise.
I should also add that if you are using group restrictions, you need to be authenticated to EEM as a user who has visibility of ALL the user groups assigned to the machine.
Maybe a new high-level user has been added since then? I'm not sure why you would want to include the users though - they are not needed (or used) if you're using the SDB to do a recovery?
you can't authenticate with the users from the SDB file anyway 0 there's no option to use them, because the machine key itself is in the sdb file, so you don't need to do a user authentication.
Now, when you are saying that a higher level has been added since then, I do not think we have added any other admin with higher rights. When I select all users while attenpting to export the config, does it add all users on that group only, or all groups ?
it adds all users assigned to that machine, and also all users of all groups assigned to that machine.
The acid test is to log in as a level 32 user - if that works fine, then there's no other explanation than your account simply does not have enough rights.
But again, why are you including the users anyway? The only time you need to do that is if you have to build an offline install set.
I need to use SB cd and recover files from the machine. When I want to authenticate from local FSB and it does not have the auth info, it will pull it from the cd, correct ?
One of our technicians updated the bios without unchecking MBR check and now it does not boot.
By the way, I removed level 32 admin from one of the groups and still giving me error
I used a test machine group and assinged only one user and did not have any problems, which means that if I have another admin with the same level as myself, it will also give me the error message, correct ?.
Still created the file, but I am not sure what it has on it.
