ECP error

I am a tech , who working with MCaffe drive encryption, and EETECH. The machine I am working on currently his giving me  the error "EPC has been corrupted." I have looked on your website and saw an EEPC error but not this one. I believe that this error has to do with the encryption software failing. When I use EETECH the  software says there is no encryption detected on the drive, and cannot see the hard drive that is supposed to be encrypted.  However, the BIOS can see the HDD as well as other third party tools.  In this case I don't care to recover the OS just the data.  Any suggestions?
