Deployment of Agent and then Encryption for PC

Jump to solution

Hi guys,

I'm upgraded from 6.1.2 to 6.1.3 (I think the agent was 1.1.2 to 1.1.3) recently and I'm now being told by the desktop team that deployment to machines is showing as failed through the ePO (4.6).  It seems that the deployment actually does work and after a reboot and a collect props it shows as active therefore its leading me to think maybe the deployment times out so ePO shows it as failed but the machine does work?  I'm told the desktop doesn't show a reboot splash like it used to before.

I realise this is possibly missing some key info but any help would be appreciated.
The agent is 4.6.0.2292 and the clients also run VSE8.8 p1

cheers

Andy

This was partly my lack of understanding and partly not asking the correct questions.  It seems the desktop team altered the way they installed the application.  The "timeout failure" is basically because they weren't logged onto the desktop of the machines in question.  This meant they didn't see the reboot request prompt and therefore just let it sit there to fail.

apologies
