I have a corporate PC and have received this error after reboot 0xe0050001. I don't want to try anything like i saw in other posts I am going to take my laptop in and have it re-imaged. If i get a new hard drive, Is it possible to have the new disk imaged, log into that system using endpoint encryption login and then access this drive from an external or internal location? The process to get info after a safeboot issue in the company is impossible, It requires a VP sig and specific file name requests. I have most info backed up, but i will lose a couple weeks and I want to get it back if possible. Thanks
it's not possible after booting from the new hard disk with EEPC on it. You'd have to boot from a BartPE or WinPE CD - then you could mount your old drive and access the data. You'll need to get a copy of a WinTech CD from your support desk, plus a copy of the SDB file from the machine record in EEM.
i don;t think you need VP signature to fix this issue..
Call your helpdesk, and get site it help etc.
it's seem that whoever inchage with safeboot maybe pushing the wrong file version to your machine.
