Here's some instructions for creating a bootable SafeTech CD, which can be used to create an ISO as well:
From a system with "McAfee Endpoint Encryption Manager" installed:
From ImgBurn (highly recommended free burning application for Windows):
It's been considered, but we don't have permission to "give" you a Microsoft OS licence, so not really possible.
The process is quite simple though - takes less than 10min if you use any of the numerous scripts or resources here. Plus if you have anyone onsite - professional services etc they can make one up using your Windows licence for you.
as Simon said.. it's about Microsft license.. you can run only windows on cd if you have windows license.
well.. building it rather simple check
Thanks but looks as if that article is for 6.x. We are 5.2.5. Couldnt Mcafee put together a .zip that has everything except the Windows files ?
It's would be great is this update document and script included in the McAfee_EEPC_XXX.zip under recovery Making a Rescue CD folder files..
So far only bartpe included.
ok, I read that link you provide and now I am completely tortured. Anyone want to share an .iso with me? I swear I have Microsoft licenses galore.
McAfee included wintech & bartpe script under recovery directory and some readme on it..
but why you can't inlcude the same for Windows AIK?
Your script and document should helpful enough to help user to do their own rescue cd right?
All the information you need is here though, and anyone familier with WinPE/AIK would be able to set it up given the instructions on the CD anyway?
