I've created a EEPC 5.2 installation set and installed it on a laptop. The laptop encrypts fully with no errors. After encryption finishes, I rebooted the machine. Upon reboot, there is no EEPC PBA, just a black screen.
Is it possible you have the Autoboot option turned on that is booting past the PBA?
The option is "Disable checking for Autoboot" in you Machine's>General settings.
In our configuration we have the Autoboot account un-checked for "Enabled" and on all machines checked "Disable checking for Autoboot".
When we need a group of machines to reboot and bypass the PBA, we enable the Autoboot user, uncheck "Disable checking for Autoboot", force a sync, then change the options back to re-instate the PBA and disable the Autoboot.
We need a little more info. For example, did you see our blue progress bar before getting to the black screen? Did you at least get past POST? The best thing would be a list like this, that shows everything you observed
That's interesting. I've never seen anything like that. Can you just remove with WinTech or SafeTech, then see if the problem persists? If the problem goes away, we might have to get your machine's make/model and test for compatibility ... or modify disk settings in the BIOS.
