you know the LDAP browser is included on the tools CD you can download with the product?
I guess that not setting any credentials could be a big problem though wink Though it's not obvious, if you're connecting to an AD you can use either a DN user name, or username@domain format for the auth user.
Since your company uses LDAP or Active Directory for its user repository, have you tried to talk to the team members that support that repository? I often find that Active Directory administrators barely recognize that the LDAP server component is even part of their product. Normally the Directory Server administrators know how to help get your product connected, but I'm not sure how verbose the Active Directory logging is regarding LDAP client connects.
