I've installed Groupshield 7.0.2 on 6 exchange 2010 servers (Win 2008 R2 Ent)
When I open "GroupShield for Exchange" on them I get the message
"McAfee GroupShield for Exchange is not currently available. Please try again later."
but this is only the case for the local host it works for all other servers if (via "Change Server") this is the case for all 6 of them
in other words:
- server A can access servers B,C,D,E,F
- server B can access servers A,C,D,E,F
|Product Name||McAfee GroupShield for Exchange|
I also tried with hotfix HF616318 but this has the same result

For me the mentioned UAC solution does not work on the CAS role, Win2k8 R2 Server + Exchange 2010 SP1 Rollup2 + GSE 7.02 with HF616318
When I try to start the GSE interface, it tells: "McAfee GroupShield for Exchange is not currently available. Please try again later."
All my McAfee products are EPO 4.5 Integrated.
The MailboxServer can start it's GSE interface, but I cannot access the CAS server's data even using that. (In other words: the remote function does not work either)
I do have a good virus scanner and filter server in front of the CAS, but still, I want to access the CAS's GSE interface as well.
I have uninstalled the whole GSE from the server and deleted the remained directories after. Restarted the server when finished.
Then I've installed GSE 7.02 again, applied the HF and restarted again.
And now it works properly. The EPO assigned the policies and all OK now.
