McAfee support couldn't really help me. Maybe someone here has a tip.
Since migrating from Exchange 2010 to 2016, we have a problem with the MSME quarantine (8.7). We can't release some e-mails because McAfee is mixing up recipient with sender. We can see that in the debug logs and in the dashboard. The Exchange tries to release the mail to the sender, which results in a NDR to the sender. Forwarding does not work either (same result). The only way to release such a mail is to download it and forward it via Outlook. We have temporarily disabled all rules and AntiSpam, brought no improvement. Why some mails can be released and others not, we have not found out. There is no system behind it. MSME was already completely reinstalled.
