Route to User Junk Folder not working

Hi,

We're using MSME 7.6 with Exchange 2003 and the Route to User Junk Folder option doesn't seem to always work. Some users still get low scoringing spam in the Inbox instead of their Junk Mail (my IT Director being one of them). Is there anyway to tell why this is happening and how to fix it?

Thanks!

Re: Route to User Junk Folder not working

After performing the steps from KB56068 it seemd that most of the spam is being routed to the Junk Mail folder now, but some have gotten into the Inbox. Here's an example:

Re: Route to User Junk Folder not working

It could be due to the following -  there is an issue with exchange 2003/2007 where it won't return the mailbox name and when that occurs the spamrouting component would fail to route the email to the junk folder.  if this is what is happening it will be collected in the debug logs and placed in the spamrouter log file.  this is what you would look for in the log.
