Hello everybody,
We use MSME 8 with an exchange 2010.
It works fine except with the antispam which is quite too "antispam"
We send emailing to our custumers, but before sending it, we send it to us to be sure the email is fine.
And since few days, the antispam marked the email as spam and deleted it.
So i try to configure the antispam's whitelist but it doesn't work.
As you can see my email are blocked.
So i've configured the whitelists but it doesn't work.
Can someone help me ?
Thanks a lot
Solved! Go to Solution.
yes it did. I was able to replicate the problem you are seeing.
here is why the whitelist is not working.
you have put in a whitelist for <info=euroteknika.com@sbr34.net> but that address is not being read by msme when it recieves the email. what msme is looking at is the actual from: address when applying the filter rule, which is info@euroteknika.com
the x-sender and sender addresses do not get used for determining black/white list info.
so if you whitelist info@euroteknika.com it should allow it through.
is patch1 and rollup 1 for msme 8 installed?
you can look on the dashboard page under the product information tab to see what hotfixes are installed.
if those fixes aren't installed i would suggest to first do that and see if the white list starts working.
also have you submitted the spam samples?
here is a kb on how to do that if you haven't do so yet.
Hello !
My version is : 8.0.7987.100 and i've installed the patch1.
So i'm going to search and installed the rollup 1.
I'm going also to install and submit my email going spam.
Thanks for your help !
Hello !
I've installed yesterday the rollup1.
And this morning, i've the same problem.
I've also submit my email as spam samples.
How can i contact Mcafee to know the the rules which block our emailing mean, to change the way we build them ?
Thanks !
besides msme detecting the email as spam are you saying the whitelisting still isn't working?
could you post the header from one of those emails that is getting marked. You only need to include the "from:" line of the header file if you want. like so
From: sptetk <noreply@community.mcafee.com>
it's possible that what you have whitelisted may not be what msme is actually seeing.
Hello !
I send it right now.
The email is always block by the rules : BAD_URRI_ACCEL_2 ; RV4814
Thanks a lot for your help !
I have a little problem when i've sent the email.
Your server reject my email
Génération du serveur : mx-in1.m1phx1.jivehosted.com
noreply@community.mcafee.com
mivwsmx1.mcafee.com #<mivwsmx1.mcafee.com #5.0.0 smtp; 550 Denied - Spam Detection> #SMTP#
How can i do to sent my header ?
you don't need to send me the email. just open the email in outlook \ click the file tab and select the info\properties button. then in the iternet headers box find the from: line and copy/paste that line to the thread. i just need to see what it says. i don't need to see anything else from the headers.
