No disclaimer text

Since a few months we seem to have a problem with the dislaimer text on one of our mailservers. Altough everything seems to be configrued well (it did even work for a few months) the disclaimer text doesn't appear on mails sent from this server.

Unfortunately I don't know when this problem started.

Now I have tried everything I can possibly think of (turn the dislaimer off and on again, change the text, restart the server...) but nothing seems to work.

On all other servers howerver there is no problem.

All servers have the same version of groupshield installed (7.0.716.101) and are all up-to-date, only the text in the disclaimer is different.

Does anybody know anything else I can try?

what version of exchange are you running 2k3 or 2k7?

it is possible the mcafee transport event sink is no longer there

open a cmd prompt and cd to the groupshield for exchange\bin folder

type cscript mcafeetransport.vbs /enum postcat

do you see a Mcafee Transport Event Scanner listed?

If it isnt there then type cscript mcafeetransport.vbs /add postcat 1

once that is done recycle iis and see if the disclaimers start working

Today I solved the problem, but I have no idea why it is solved.

I reinstalled groupshield on that server and it still didn't work. But after I reinstalled it a second time it worked again.

So I still have no idea why it stopped working and why it didn't work after the first reinstall.
