I have one company who we do a lot of work with and there emails keep getting caught in the URL reputation. Now I believe this could be due to them hosting some of there images on a dropbox site.
Is there anyway I can bypass the URL check for a single domain.
Not within the url scan configuration - sadly - good idea though ... McAfee Corporate KB - How to submit a new Product Idea (formerly Product Enhancement Request) KB6002...
If you go into the MSME Interface - Detected Items - Mail Url Reputation
There is a small white box on top right of detected items view "Columns to Display"
Click that - scroll down list - check "Banned Phrases" (it uses same column as DLP& Content Scanner)
Then you see that there is a link "Blocked URLs"
Click that and it will tell you which exact problematic url or urls were found.
Take those urls to www.trustedsource.org
select e.g McAfee RealTime Database
Put in the URL
If you have (or can create) a login - you can dispute the classification of the url and set to get notifications on the stages of resolution.
MSME uses a local DB which is updated every 24 hours when available - so it may show clear at TrustedSource.org - but might still detect in MSME until the new db updates downloaded.
You'll see the the logging of the DB updates in Settings & Diags - Product log
