Groupshield 7.01 not scanning spam

I am currently experiencing some troubles with my new/fresh install of Groupshield 7.01 on a Windows 2003 SBS. The problem is that it won't recognize any spam.

The configuration:

·         Windows 2003 SBS

·         Groupshield 7.01

·         Exchange 2003 SP2

·         Mail is retrieved by the Exchange POP connector.

It does attach a spam score to the mail headers but Groushield doesn't take any action the mail

isn't routed to the "system spam folder"  or deleted.

i've found 1 knowledgebase article which seems to describe my problem, but this an old article and applies on Groupshield 6 series.

Does anyone know if this problem still accurse with Groupshield 7.0.1? Or what else my problem could be?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Re: Groupshield 7.01 not scanning spam

GroupShield is only going to scan emails that come in over smtp from the internet.  It will not scan emails that come over a pop3 connector.

that article you found would also apply to GSE 7.01
