RE: Thanks

Hi

this link is not a working link any more. can someone post the new link? I have the two processes running that are required and the McAfee user has the correct permissions to the data directory but this is still empty and when opening the admin console it is reporting that it is not available

Groupshield cannot access admin console

Hi grc1uk

What I did was to follow the procedure found in the installation guide , what I did was jut to reinstall
restore some files, I do not remember what files, it's in the manual, that's what I did and I was able to access the console again.

When you set it up for the first time, the systems seems to make a backup of the original files, the manual says that you should copy back two files to a parent directory, as long as I remeber, are .html files.

Read the installation or User guide, it's in there.

Hope this helps.
Good Luck.

RE: Groupshield cannot access admin console

Hi

First, thanks for the answer.
Second, I think you ment 616632 instead of 616623...

However, both processes ARE running on my server... While I am still getting:
McAfee GroupShield for Exchange is not currently available. Please try again later.

You must run it as an administrator - Windows Server 2008

Right click the McAfee GroupShield for Exchange link and choose Run as administrator under Windows Server 2008.
