Domain blacklisted by McAfee but no where else

Jump to solution

I've seen a few of these post but none of them answered my question.  Who do I contact to get on the good side of McAfee's Trusted Source List?  The exchange server was blacklisted a 3-4 months ago due to a lack of a RDNS entry.  Since then the problem has been corrected.  We aren't even listed on mxtoolbox.com blacklist check and yet we remain on McAfee's.  We have 3 domains returning NDR's containing "#554 Transaction Failed Spam Message not queued." errors.  Our server connects to theirs fine but then we get a spam bounce back message.  Any help is much appreciated.

try the following

Step 2: Check the status of the IP address at www.trustedsource.org:

  1. Open www.trustedsource.org.
  2. Enter the IP address in the TrustedSource query box.
  3. Confirm the status of the IP address as a high or medium risk.

Step 3: Send an email to the McAfee Labs team at ts-feedback@mcafee.com including the message hash and the Sending IP address.

Example of notification email sent to McAfee Labs:

To: ts-feedback@mcafee.com
From: admin@mfesupport.com
Subject: False Positive

Please adjust the reputation of this message/IP:

Sending IP address: 172.16.201.110

I've been trying many ways but I don't receive any reply from them. Google does not blacklist our site, Why do they? I don't get it.

Here it is: http://extstore.com/

We have sold Joomla extensions on JED (Joomla Extension Directory) but about 2 weeks ago, they blocked 2 of our best-selling extensions with the McAfee Blacklist reason.

I guess these two extensions are very popular so they have been posting illegally on malicious websites. That's why there might be bad links that direct to our website. I've sent lots of requests but still don't get any reply from them. Our revenue dropped down and now we're hopeless.

tlange,

We just got new internet service with a new IP. Since then we have been getting bouncebacks like crazy from old clients we always have emailed to. I went to the McAfee threat center and found out we are a "High" email risk. How do i go about getting us off that list?

- edit. Nevermind, this is bullshit. Improve your tracking / catagorizing methodology. I will take care of this myself.
