6.02 RPCSERV.EXE maxing out when scanning certain mail.EX2K3

Hi all,

windows 2003/exchange2003
Currently experiencing high cpu usage sometimes, 'I think/not sure when backup is backing up the mailboxs in the early morning' from rpcserv.exe. I've had to disable groupshield short term. I've seen a fix for this but apparently from what I've read the version I'm running 6.02 should of had this fix included? Anyone got any ideas whats happening?
Event Log.

Event 2045 The OnAccess (VSAPI) scanner failed to scan the item " with error 80004005

Error 2098 FAILED TO WRITE TO THE PRODUCT LOG. 80004005:Unspecified error

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
