I have spent the last hour and a half being bounced from person to person and I never takled to a single person that undestood what I was asking.
Our corperate IP address was recently blacklisted. We had an infected laptop that was sending out spam. The issue was resolved and we have been taken off the predominate blacklists. I would like to request that our IP address be taken off of the Mcafee Black list.
Can some one please tell me how to get that done? the only info that I found was to send a request to email@example.com but this address bounces.

I went to
and verified that our IP 184.108.40.206 is on the blacklist for Mcafee. It is.
The question is, how do I get it off of the blacklist?
Ok I've moved this provisionally to Corporate > Webwasher as that seems to be the spot where most Trusted Source questions occur. There's also a means of contacting Trusted Source using the Feedback tab here: http://www.trustedsource.org/en/home
Hopefully someone from Corporate will answer soon.
It took me less time to set up my account to use these discussion board post my question and get an answer than I spent on hold with your support people.
Thank you again.
The people whon patrol this area should know the best approach to take. Also support for Corporate is totally separate from that of the consumer product and handled differently anyway so hopefully you'll get some action shortly.
Good luck ;-)
this is not necessarily the right forum because this is for Web Gateway (which uses Trusted Source, but only the Web Part), however I will see if I can contact anyone or find out how to restore the IP addresses reputation as quickly as possible.
the IP address information has been reset. I think it will take some time until the changes are replicated everywhere. Please check again later if the problem still occurs.

Thanks for doing that asabban, what forum would have been the right one then, for my future reference, SiteAdvisor or ?
jamiet please let us know when things are OK.
I didn´t find a real "trusted source" forum... I would have forwarded it to email gateway forum, since they at least utilize the email part of the trusted source response, while we only care for the web part. Maybe we should have a more general forum for trusted source related queries in the future (or maybe I simply didn´t find one :-))
